I was thinking about what to write and was coming up blank so I will simply implore all American Citizens on here to go vote next week.
Whatever your party affiliation, vote.
Whethery you agree or disagree with how things are going, vote.
It doesn't take long and actually has a large impact even if you don't feel it immediately, so vote.
You owe it to yourself, your community, your city, your state, and your country to vote, to get your voice heard. You owe it to me to vote, so vote.
Filling in an oval, punching a chad, pressing a button, all of these tiny actions impact our lives on a daily basis, so vote.
If you ever hear a politician talk about what the people want and you think to yourself "that is a far cry from what I want" this is how you can let those politicians know what you want.
Also if you vote, it allows you to bitch about the state of the country knowing that you did let them know what you want, so it's really a way to rage against the blowhards knowing that you stood up and made your voice heard.
