Let's see...

Grandma is home and recovering nicely, sounds like everything went well and she is doing quite well.

Ben has about a week of staying calm, Thank Jeebus, he is feeling well enough that he wants to act up but we aren't supposed to let him. We have doggy sedatives and calm him down with those, we give him half the dose the vet said because otherwise he just doesn't seem like himself, in fact he can seem a bit drunk and we don't want that, we just want a calm dog so he doesn't hurt himself doing to much.

Mom is doing really well too! I think she is going to go back to work half days after this week, we shall see how her doc appointment goes on Wednesday. It really is impressive how much her new knee bends compared to the old banged up one that really didn't bend much at all. She is really happy with it all, and for good reason.

Me, well I am pretty much over the cold I had, or whatever it was that was making all that junk in my lungs. Reada couple good books, was decently hung over yesterday and luckily had an easy day at work. I wish I didn't have to work tomorrow so I could go to the lake and fish with dad on his new boat, but the holiday pay will be nice, what with my two trips coming up.

I was doing an experiment to see if I could make it to the end of October without buying any books, movies, or albums, and I have been doing well, I have enough of that stuff to keep me busy anyway. Apparently when I am drunk I will go against this Woke up yesterday and had an email notifying me that my Amazon order had shipped. I figured it was one of the books I had pre-ordered a while back, but had to start laughing when I saw that it was Dexter season 4 and Breaking Bad seson 2 on bluray. Drunken Matt took it upon himself to do that, and I guess he figured that he didn't want to wait for netflix. Oh well at least he didn't buy a lot more than that, or drop a couple hondo.
