Mom is getting around well, took her up to the hospital for physical therapy yesterday and got a lot of reading done. She was sore and tired afterwards, but she's been doing really well for just having a knee replaced.

Ben, the dog, got his tape sling taken off today and the vet was happy with his progress. He isn't putting weight on the leg, but he'll figure that out in the next few days. The best part of the tape coming off is that the smell went with it. Nothing like sweat and whatever getting caught up in that stuff and sitting there for a couple weeks.

Found out last Saturday that The Dead Weather was playing last night a few hours south of here in a 700some person theater. I then tried to decide if I was mad that I hadn't heard of it until then, or that I couldn't go. Ultimately I decided that it was good I didn't find out until later so that way I could be as bummed out about not going, although it would have been awesome.

This time next week I will be in Detroit Lakes Minnesota for the WEfest. It's a damn good time, got a bunch of friends going, cannot wait for it. Don't know if the liver is ready or not, but I guess we shall see, shant we!?!

Life is pretty good, figuring some things out, enjoying other things, just keep living right?
