So can anyone give me advice on how to make deadlines for yourself and then, in turn, stick to them?
I put these deadlines ahead of myself, very doable deadlines, yet I do not put the effort and work in to achieve the things that need to be achieved by the deadline's arrival. So any and all advice, hints, sources of inspiration, anything of this nature to get me to kick my own ass would be greatly appreciated.
On a personal note I have been venturing out in the real world once again and it is nice, even if it is my hometown with not much of a night life, at least I am actually living again. A guy has come to the afternoon shift that is quickly becoming a friend of mine and a hell of a drinking buddy, so I have that going for me, which is nice. So now I just have to make sure that I don't overdo the drinking and everything will be copacetic, but I don't think that will be a problem, I pretty much know my limits and after the first night out I know when I overdo it as well.
I hadn't been out in forever so I overdid it a couple weeks back, stayed out until around 5 in the morning and then had to apologize to a guy the next night for kicking over his garbage can out in the street when I went by it, damn you PBR, damn your tasty aclohol goodness. Karma got me back though when Brad and I went out for breakfast and I burnt the piss out of my mouth and had to deal with that for about three days. It sucks when you want to eat toast but the damn scratchy factor screws with the roof of your mouth, and coffee fucks with your tongue, yep Karma got me on that one.
I have been excercising more, which I am happy about, keeps the crap I eat in check, although I am still pretty damned healthy on that front as well. I am liking that Spring has finally hit Montana so now I can get my bicycle up and running and get out on that for even more exercise, and now I have my ipod so boredom is not a factor. It has rained the past couple nights, so that has been a nice refreshing scent wafting in the open window, now I just have to wait for the hills to dry up so I can go climb up there, I haven't been up in these hills in a long ass time, which is sad because I loved climbing them when I was a kid, so I look forward to that as well.
All of that is so I can impress my friends when I go to my friend Mary's wedding in June, she is one of my best friends little sister, and in turn she kind of became a little sister to me as well. I give her shit and am a protective of her type of thing, she's good shit and her finacee is a good guy so that will be a good time when June rolls around. It's gonna be an outdoor wedding in a park near where she grew up, and then I think the reception will more than likely be at the Corner bar in Climax MN, and I always have a good time there, but they might surprise me and have it somewhere else or possibly just stay at the park, I really don't care as it is gonna be a good time with a lot of lovely ladies as well.
So yeah that is my quick refresher for you all, now I just need to find time to get through a chunk of my comics before the next shipment arrives, but hell I will finally be able to take a gander at Battle for the Cowl which I look forward to. Also Big Bang Theory was awesome this week when it went into a discussion of who the next Batman should be.
