So i went to wally world for smokes and tea!!! two of my major vices. so i go to check out and there are no checkers, just a machine who says it'll take my money. That is truely fucked up i think, but i'll give it a try. well the fuckin' thing tryed to charge me 3 times for one of my items, then threw a fit cause i didn't put it in a sack.
Then this woman shows up and deletes the items mr Roboto charged me for. so i ask her, wouldn't it have been a lot simpler to have just checked me out. she says , that this is progress, and it's here to save me time and so they can lower prices.
Lower prices by getting rid of living breathing human beings??? But here's the real wacked thing about it. As i came in the store they had this old man with a walker standing there to say hello
Hmmm wouldn't they save money by not hiring people to say hi to me as i come in? i mean if i wasn't greeted when i came in it wouldn't lessen my shopping at all, in fact, i would perfer NOT to be talked to when i go to wally world. Most times i'm trying to remember why the fuck i'm there in the first place, and don't need someone breaking my concitration (SP)
Now i'm having these visions of "I Robot" flash threw my 'ead. In them i'm an 80 years old standing at a door greeting robots as they come into a store. pretty fucking scarey
