Little something i jotted down one night while slaving for the man....

It's a quiet night, Pregnant with possiblities
time is creeping by.
In the plant the workers go about their chores
Making money for the corperate gods
While i count the seconds of my life
That i sell for an hourly wage.
What's your life worth?
For forty hours you'll never see again
Time you'd give anything to have back
At the end of your life
Comfort, a roof over your head
food to eat
do these things really make us happy
Or better
Than a homeless guy on the street?
Who's better off?
Which one is truely free?
Do we live in prisons of our own making?
Or in the end, are we just sheep
Or perhaps trained monkeys
conditioned to want less
and work more???

Robots of the world unite

On another note, today i bought some paints and canvas, so i'm ready to begin my artistic outlet again. wish me luck!!!
