Well i watched Kill Bill vol 1 last night! It's a work of Genius!!! he's using several styles of movies at once, which he is very up front about, but he manages to blend them perfectly. so one minute it's feeling like a Sergio Leone film then next the tempo picks up and you're in a Shaw brothers kung fu movie!!!
IMO the most important thing for a movie to do is entertain you! but KB1 go i step farther in that it is also a work of art!!! which hey that's what movies are about too!

It is- amazingly beautiful, especially and most of all the archipelago, but thats hardly an obective point of view, Ive just lost my heart to the sea and am putting roots in this soil...
