Ok, time to update for real.

School started back this week, but I'm not really back in the mode yet. The one part of my schedule that is actually a class is going to be boring: it's all research techniques and stuff. A lot of my time has been going into video games lately; gotta drag out of that to work on my thesis.

My girl and I broke up. No big deal really, we weren't that serious, and we had a conversation where I basically reminded her of that and explained why. I think she was more attatched to me than she acted. Even though she broke up with me, she was upset by it, but later she apologized, which was unnecessary. I know we'll never be as good friends as we were before, but hopefully we can be close.

So now I have new friends to watch the OC with. I've also been sorta talking to this girl I used to know. She lives several hours away, but she wants me to come see her. I think she's a little too immature and still in that socialize/party all-the-time mode for me to get involved with. She's interesting and smart and cool to me, but I don't know if that makes me special. I get the feeling she's like that to a lot of guys.

God, this post is being way to emo, and long, but . . .

I also wanted to talk about this cool band I interviewed about a week ago. I'm writing an article about them for the school paper. The Otto Modest sounds sorta like Radiohead, Mogwai, and stuff like that, but they really mix genres. I love them, and I can't believe a band this cool is in Cape.
