Thanks everyone, I really appreciate all the support and comments from you about Saturday's events. 
You've all kind of proved to me why I love this site.
So here's an update.
The Police said they'll do what they can, but not to hold out any hope of anything actually happening.
I've also just returned from the hospital, where I've been told my lip is now infected, they gave me a local and scrubbed the thing clean. I have to go back on Thursday morning where they're going to cut a chunk of my lip out, and stitch it back together. So that's something to look forward to
I can't help but feel really attractive and good about myself, now I have a huge open, weeping and infected wound on my mouth.

I'm off for a couple of days to the far flung north of the country. Now you all play nice and try not to break anything while I'm gone!

I shouldn't worry about not feeling attractive, it will soon be healed, and you'll be back to your usual self.
