Well, today finds me in a somewhat better mood. All kittens are now safe.

I had one of those low grade bad moods all day Saturday, which wasn't helped by a very strange evening out - good drinks, really good drinks, but shit venue, and very odd company, but that's by the by. Sunday however, I woke up in a really good mood, pissed off my housemates with my rampant cheeriness, went to the pub for lunch and a couple of games of pool (I still play as appallingly as I ever did, which was reassuring) then returned in the afternoon for a lot to smoke and watching WIllow.

I've been rediscovering the music of my wasted teenage years too, which has made me mourn the Demise of STP era Scott Weiland for the strange rubber coated, strung out looking pepperami that joined Velvet Revolver.

But that's just me.

Got my first proper order for my clothes making enterprise - a friend wants 8 pairs of britches, which is heartening. And for the next Piratey nerdfest I've been asked to take up a major role, that of a mad scientist. I was given a run through of the plot and it sounds like once again a hilarious and drunken weekend to be had in a very idyllic location. Plenty of time to get things sorted out as it's in early November too.
