I got a letter in the post from my ex yesterday. She's made a reasonable request I suppose. She would like copies of the photos that were taken on various holidays we took together. I know that it's reasonable to ask for them, they are 'ours' after all. But, I don't think I'm quite ready to go trawling through the photos I've backed up to find them. For god's sake, I don't even want to be in the same hemisphere as that girl at the moment. To be reminded of the good memories, just to have the way I feel poison all those good times, until I have no good thoughts about the time we were together? Yes, I'm incredibly bitter at the moment, but... well... You know, I don't really want to do that to myself just yet.
Mind you, just reading the letter brought up a lot of stuff I've been trying to lay to rest over the last couple of months or so. After our last conversation, I made it abundantly clear that I simply
can not have her in my life at the moment. So her letter kind of knocked me for 6
This may sound a bit odd now, but I'm currently feeling a lot of peer group pressure to grow a beard! Well, if not a beard, definitely some kind of 'tended' facial furniture. This is a strangely random thing to share I know. But many of my friends are now sporting a whole range of beards and/or chops. So has anyone got any ideas? I'm thinking about going for the classic Lemmy 'Buggerbars'.
Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated, but please, no 'taches, I'm not ready to look like Ron Burgundy just yet.
Moving house on or around the 14th! Which I'm really looking forward to. The only downside is that on the 14th, I have to hand over a large wedge of cash, and I always get paid on the 21st. Which is going to make Christmas shopping a litle tight this year. So I think that 'Abstinence' is probably the name of the game over the next month.
But, the good news is that I'll be living in a house, and I should be able to host the traditional Christmas get together this year. An enormous batch of Mulled wine is made, lots of people come round and get absolutely slaughtered. Which will be nice.
So anyway.
This week I have been mainly listening to:
Queens of the stone age - All 4 albums,
Tom waits - Nighthawks at the diner & Small change
Fu Manchu - In search of...
Marilyn Manson - Portrait of an american family
I have watched:
Black books seasons 1 & 2
Still reading the twelve caesars by Suetonius.

Ah, you see, long is the problem. My body struggled with the growing process at 13 so gave up, leaving me at 5ft nothing. I can't do long, even if I wear heels
