I feel apologies are in order.
I've spent most of the last month or so in an incredibly dark place. I've had to do a lot of looking inward to try and find out what it is within me that is 'broken'.
I would have updated last week, but my broadband got cut off and, to be completely frank here, I just couldn't be bothered to pay it.
But, on the plus side, I believe that I've definitely hit the bottom of this emotional free fall. Things came to a head last week, I also surprised myself by not just taking what was dished out at me, and in a dramatic turn of events, I stood up for myself.
And by god, I feel so much better for doing so.
The holiday in Brighton was a washout though, that didn't help things. No tattooing got done at all
I'm really quite pissed off at that, but then again, it was the return from Brighton that 'triggered' a few things. On my return I ended up going a little (well, a lot in fact) crazy, I ended up destroying my mobile in a fit of rage, and a whole host of other things. An incredible friend then was good enough to make sure that I spent all of the next day with him, we talked a lot, and I now owe him a massive debt of gratitude. I then got my head straight, got a new phone (An unbelievably good one, I love insurance so much
) and then went to the pirate role playing event.
I can't explain what happened in my clumsy prose, but all I can really say is that it was one of the best experiences of my life! I haven't had so much fun in a long time. I still have twinges in my sides from the amount of laughing I did. So, If you ever get a chance to dress up like a pirate and run round a field acting like a total child, seize that opportunity with both hands!! I'm going to check for the organiser's website to update, and then if there are any, I'll try and post some pics.
Gotta go now, I think I have a few bridges to rebuild.

it's effectively a chain letter where u get nominated to perform some inane task by some1 one yr friends list. In this case I got "20 interesting facts about me". Technically I only gave 11 and should then have nominated but I figure most people are cappable of decideing on their own journal content
