A chance to read it? You did notice that it was 800 pages, right? I'm 2/3 of the way through it - I go through periods when I can't put it down, and others where I don't even want it in my line of vision. We have a love-hate relationship.

Hows the hangover? Eric and I almost drunk-dialed you on St. Patties day, but it was just so loud that I was afraid you wouldn't even be able to tell who the hell was calling at one am! We were going to invite Elizabeth too, but I figured if I didn't want to drive to San Jose with all of the drunks out, she probably shouldn't drive to Campbell for the same reason. I keep meaning to call her, but we simply don't go out very much lately. Turning into regular homebodies!

my eye has cleared up a lot in the last few days. it's not perfect but at least it doesn't look like i have raw meat coming out of my eye socket.

Long time no update! I hope everything went well with the old friend.
The other night at the indie bar I met a guy that totally reminded me of you, only he wasn't quite as cool. He bummed a cigarette, and somehow I went from that to talking to him about literature.... he said I probably wouldn't know the authors he was into, and then proceeded to cite Vonnegut and Thoreau. Psah. I asked him if he was into 'the Russians'. He said no. I said that it would've been love if he had. And then I lost interest in the conversation, like the batty drunk girl I am.

everything went fine last week and i haven't had any real problems since then.
