Mmm...A belly full of good mexican food will do wonders. As will an amazing morning conversation.
Today thus far has been nothing short of awesome.
I saw two movies yesterday. Here's the rundown:
High Tension:
Horror/Slasher film. Well done, low budget, minimalist approach. It was thoroughly enjoyable, but far too short and vague. Had there been more money for time and attention to detail, I'm sure I would be raving non stop about this movie as the best horror film in this year of bad remake horror.
Mr. & Mrs. Smith:
Slow to start, promising body, but dissapointing end. It was entertaining, and never low on eye candy...guns, knives, explosions, hot women and men...the works. Otherwise it was a cookie cutter plot, with a predictable end. But it was a "shut your mind off and enjoy" type of film. I didn't hate it.
I think I'm gonna shower and do all of that crap...then find something around here to do.
Work tomorrow, friends coming in town Thursday.
