Lately I have been listening to some stuff I haven't listened to, at length, for quite some time. Some of them have come on when I put my MP3s on shuffle, and others just haven't gotten any play. Either way, I just started putting in old CDs. It's funny how I have memories, entire periods of time attached to whole albums. Other times, it's just the words or melodies/beats of the songs themselves. Either way, I've been in a good mood lately because of these things. Most of it reminds me of high school...Not the school or the people specifically. Mostly it reminds me of how I felt then. I was happy just as I am now, but I was happy...and I was tolerant, and patient, and I was letting people in and out of my life like a revolving door. Now...I really don't let anyone in...There's no reason to it...at least I don't think there is. I just don't. I wonder why it is...but not much. I'm fine now, just different. But, it's nice to remember how I was, and that I can change again if I want to. A good thing to know...
