The song "Getting the Death Card" by The Chinese Stars, keeps coming on when I put my MP3s on shuffle, at least once a day...
I finally ordered the Tower of Rome CD, along with a shirt.
I head to San Antonio tomorrow night for a party, The Locust concert, check out the apartment, and check out everything else, I'm excited.
I'm catching Sin City tonight at around 11 or so. I get to see it before all of you...YES!! Perks, perks, perks. I'll let you all know how it is.
Work is awesome during the week...It's me and two other guys, and we goof off, and debate movies and music and current events, and make obscene jokes, and jabs at every culture under the sun (all in good fun). It's awesome.
Which brings me to today...When Mrs. Alvarez, the manager at the time, put on Tina Turner in the restraunt on the jukebox. I then proceded to heckle her for such a choice in music. This got my other two partners in crime involved and somehow we began saying...for the rest of the day mind you...
"Ike Turner for President" or "Vote Ike Turner 2008" or any other version of such a saying. I still find it humorous.
