I really need to update here more often.
In the middle of a long work free zone...working on finishing up some hardwood floors in my living room. it is the last room that needs done. once this is complete, all rooms except for a bathroom have been redone with real hardwood....so I am pleased. I plan on finishing up the living room floors...then move on to finish the basement. Managed to redo my bathroom in a day also. So my excitement is woodworking inside on rainy days, fencing outside of sunny days...some good times in between.
Went to the Tom Petty concert on Wednesday with Britt and her friend Amber, Great time! I really had a blast...unfortunately I missed the opening which was the Allman brothers because we were sitting in ridiculous traffic...but after hearing about others sitting for hours on the way out and home, I was out and on my way in probably 15 minutes...we cheated a bit and it worked!!!!
Fishing yesterday and I caught a nice size bass...while attempting to take the lure out the bass was shaking and going crazy. I was just about to grab the lip to hold it steady and the hook from the lure went into my left index finger and as the fish shook harder, the hook entered deeper....to say the least, It hurt and I could not get it back out due to the barbs on the ends of the hook. I ended up getting this old guy to help me get the fish off the other end of the hook first then attempted to get him to just PULL it out fast but he didn't have the guts to do it. He was getting sick just looking at it. So I went to the ER. I will have to post a picture here....it was nasty and hurt but all was good in about 1 minutes once the doctor set to removing it.
Looks like a sunny day so I am off to accomplish something! Have a Great weekend!
