Life is better today. Don't ask me why, 'cause I'm not sure. I think maybe it's just because it's Friday and I realized that my work also closes down on Martin Luther King Day because it is affiliated with a government organization, (namely a university), so therefore I will truly have a three-day weekend rather than just three days off from school.
Hip-hip, HOORAY!!
And plus, I get paid soon. Always a good thing.
The deadline for turning in apps for the mentor position I want to apply for is coming up, and I am way stoked because I've had everything in order since winter break started and I have two of the best people sending in letters of reccomendation on my behalf. One is the best mentor EVARR!!!!1!!!one!! and the other is my favorite professor and possibly one of the best people to ever walk the earth, who also happens to be heading up the UNST program in which I am trying to become a part of. Both stellar recs, and now all I have to do is dazzle them with my HTML abilities (not) and show them how well I can write (hot).
Hmm...can you tell I'm a nerd?
Oh well, I guess the secret is out. Oh wait, that's right. Everyone already knew.
