Does anyone else bounce back and forth between being obsessively concerned about everything and finding that nothing really matters?

It's like fucking multiple personality disorder with me or something.

Part of me sees everything that's going on in the world and becomes deeply entrenched in trying to figure out ways I can make a difference and stop the idiocy.

The other part thinks, "well, this ridiculous machine has been going on for millions of years, and will continue to go on for millions, so why am I trying to make it any particular thing -- it will be what it will be."

I have a very unsettled feeling, in general, and it's very unsettling. I don't really have any reason for stating that other than I want to.

I lost one of my sketchbooks tonight. Also unsettling, but not really that big of a deal in the whole scheme of things.

I'm going to make a sandwich. Peanut butter with honey and bananas. Mmm...
