I keep wanting to move out of the country and realizing that if we (people who actually care about the world) do that, it's one step closer to a totalitarian planet.

We have to do something about this. We have to somehow show people the negative reprecussions of opression of expression and personal choice, homogenized cultures, might makes right, and destruction of personal liberties.

The frightening part is that all of those things have been blatantly displayed for the last 4 years at an increasing and alarming rate, and obviously that didn't make a difference.

Man I want to just curl up in bed and pretend I'm in a happy place.

At least I live in San Francisco though. And at least art, music, and literature tend to thrive in an oppressive political regime.
