I am in a seriously strange state of mind... simultaneously happy, tired, stressed, introspective, unsatisfied, motivated, and wanting to create. It's kind of bizarre.
it's definitely time that I move back toward my standard of an art/music centric life... I love the partying, and having some simple good times was one of the main reasons I wanted to come here, but I think I'm going to intersperse a lot more collaborative music time and art time back into my activities. that is of course assuming I also reduce the ridiculous amount I'm working some, but that's also part of what I need to do.

"wow, I read all of that, and am now blatantly reminded of why I hate modern politics.
the worst part is these are actually the issues that most of the country is focused on. It's all a smokescreen and a publicity game, and it's the only reason I can possibly imagine that this country and the world can have had so many negative reprecussions from this administration, that map can still be mostly red, and we can only have a choice between Option A and Option A with the ability to form cohesive sentences.
I simply don't understand. Maybe we as a country have just become so fearful, selfish, and petty that we don't see the impact that the current policies are having on the world mentality and the environment we live in. We just bicker about stupid character traits in men that I would never even trust with my cats, much less my country... until we have to make a choice between dumb and dumber.
bah.
I guess none of it will matter in the end, but at least once in my lifetime I would like to actually ADMIRE the president.
maybe people will get sick enough of this circus to demand that one of these days."
