a couple of updates from the weekend/wine trip


First... a bitch.... now I can't even drink FUCKING WINE!!! Apparently eggs and sometimes milk are used as a protein additive to wine to leech out the tannins (sp?) from wine and improve the taste. The eggs and milk aren't actually IN the wine in the end, but for an ethical vegan such as myself, well, FUCK!



That being said, I VERY MUCH APPRECIATE the educational wine tour by Requiem. He is very knowledgable, and even told us the name of the little hole in the barrels. It's a bunghole. And then he made davel stick his finger in it.



At the end of the night (a bbq at the casa de requiem, out where you could see EVERY star, and also out far enough to make davel run out of gas ) we decided to attempt to write with our non-dominant hands while drunk. I personally think the results were quite good, and demonstrate the mental equilibrium of our SGSF crew. Um, except for Requiem, that's his monstrosity down in the right hand corner.
