So this morning, instead of being asleep at 2:30, I was awake. A malady which has continued to this very moment. I don't know why... I went to sleep at 10:00 with all intentions of getting up at 5 or 6, but indeed, 2:30.
So I've been at work since about 5:00 this morning. That's dumb.
I had a seriously spooky dream. Well, at least the part I remember was pretty damned scary. There was a dog, that was either asleep or dead, laying on the ground... dead I think. And there was this little girl standing beside me. I looked down at her and she was just staring at the dog with a blank expression, not blinking. I was talking to her but she wasn't responding, so I reached over and tried to turn her head toward me... when I did her eyes stayed fixed on the dog until I had turned her head so far that she couldn't look at it anymore. I kept asking her why she was staring at it and she wouldn't respond. Finally, she said, very plainly, "I'm not looking at the dog, I'm looking at the THING BEHIND IT." I'll clarify in saying there was nothing (that I could see) anywhere around the dog. Well this had the effect of scaring the SHIT out of me... but in that rather paralyzing way that sends chills through every pore.
I'm convinced that if I could actually create movies which accurately represented the scary crap my mind can conjure up, that I could at least scare myself into a psycho-ward... the only way it doesn't do it now is that it's not quite tangible enough to be terrifying.
So yeah, why I felt the need to share that I have no idea
Oh, and Coco cut my hair again
And SuMo tonight. Rock. Although at this rate I may have to go home first and take a nap. Luckily I can leave work at like 1 and still have put in an 8 hr. day.
