) They know how to write some good fucking music and then rock it the fuck out
I have to say the san jose burlesque show was much better (of course, I couldn't see a lot of the SF show, so that probably had a lot to do with it). Felt like the energy level was much higher. For my part though, I'd like to see more stuff like the first act (from San Jose... it was near the end at the SF show I think). It just had much better costume and theme... felt a lot more like burlesque. I'm not saying they needed to stick with the 1920's theme, but a little more time in costume (yes, I know someone will say "WHAT? Why the hell would we want them to stay clothed???" but I just think the progression is more fun... tease is one of the biggest parts of burlesque in my opinion. Anyway... it was a great show, and a lot of fun, and I got to be right up at the stage this time, which was great. Luckily Requiem and Julianna and I seemed to be about 5 degrees off to the side of the main chocolate syrup and beer slinging
k... tree burn tonight with some sf folks, and degas show and probably something fun tomorrow night with Julianna and Vutek. Woohoo!

so glad you came in today...thanks that rules. sorry i couldnt hang out. sucks. but it was still great to have you all there.
i did a whole photo series of 10 photos (16/20) of women and men kinda cut off in the background...i dunno had a lot ot do with how i felt aobut relationships and the power struggle within them. glad you got to see some stuff of mind, they look like shit scanned and put on the ol' net.
