Feeling pretty happy considering*

Trying to get my place in order after the sick... always a joy... heh.

Some guy outside my window just took his aggressions out on a bag of trash. Then he randomly picked up some of the trash, put it into a different bag and walked away... leaving a big pile of trash on the sidewalk. I find it hard to be very upset about litter in the city... 1 they will clean it up, and 2 um, we're surrounded with plastic and concrete.

My girlfriend comes in thursday for thanksgiving... just going to hang out for a few days. I actually have to do some work unfortunately, but it should still be pretty relaxing. Hope everyone else has fun : )

Rundown of the last week.

Mon: Arrive late on plane from CO. Toothpain starts, find out in meeting that I have two weeks to acheive impossible for work deadline. Realize there was a double charge on my account for a U-haul move... missing 1200.00... finally get fixed after hours of phone conversing.

Tues: Pain severe, go to dentist. Paycheck late, can't afford the dental work yet (because it's going to cost more than my truck). Go back to work. No sleep that night from pain.

Wed: Get Paid, Get Root Canal (1st Half), begin new, different, and exciting oral pain : ) Give 1 leg to dentist to pay... heh.

Thurs: ow, no sleep, pain medication weak and useless.

Fri: Fever develops, pain reduced somewhat by Vicodin, which also renders me useless at work during crunch time.

Sat: Go to work to try to catch up. Pain gets insane, jaw starts swelling. Get new ext. hard drive for work Lose Check card (unknown at this time). Copy stuff over to work at home. Call dentist... jaw huge... get prescription, realize no card, no cash, need taxi to get to pharmacy. Crap. dig up cash in house. Call CompUSA where card was lost. answering machine hell. Go down there... can't find card, but will call me (yeah right). Get to pharmacy (OW>fucking OW> take meds, go home, get no sleep.

Sun: Call Dentist at 7:00 a.m. Meet him at 9:00 so he can deal with my massively swolen jaw. Go home, take meds, sleep all day... probably got bit by the spider at some point that night... heh.

Mon: Got up early to try to get some work done. Checked my account. Empty. Clever. Indeed someone not only got my card, but used my pin and withdrew all my cash/made purchases. My own damn fault because some of the numbers on my card corresponded with my PIN, and they must have just used them as guesses. Anyway, it will be reimbursed, but I'm broke for a few days at least. Worked most of the day... vicodin made me sick, came home early. Noticed open wound with black edges on leg. Yay, spider bite, probably brown recluse. Went to hospital for 2 hrs. Indeed, BR bite, got antibiotics. small, and should be fine, but WTF? Heh.

Luckily, somewhere in there I regained my normal reaction to bad shit happening, which is to be amused and laugh a lot.
