Damn... only saturday, and I've had a full weekend already. Went out for drinks with the work crew on friday evening, then went to the hemlock and met tuff, coco, and requiem and saw the lovemakers... great show, with the bonus of getting to hear 7 cure covers... fuck yeah : ) Today I went to see kill bill, which was entertaining, gory, brutal, and amusing.... quite the interesting combination as always. Then I hung out in the nice weather with some friends for a while before going to the LAN party I was at until just now. Lots of carnage today...
I wonder what it really does to your brain to expose it to saturated violence. I guess many people actually see worse in their life. We're just numbing ourselves to real violence so we can deal with it when we see it around us. It makes it a lot easier to go to war when you picture it like a movie.

Kill Bill was so gorey! But I loved it. My favorite part of the Lovemakers set on Friday was the Cure covers... maybe 'cause I've seen them so many times that I already knew the other stuff. I hope your Sunday is as productive as mine. Well, if I can get away from my computer!
yeah, I still haven't managed to get off of the computer yet... something about sitting in the sun in the comfy chair chatting with friends seems strangely more appealing than chores ; )
