finally... a stable enough connection to actually update. I'm still using some random wireless signal from my apartment.

So pretty much my entire world has changed in the last month. Moved from Colorado to SF, started a new job, got an apartment in downtown, left my girlfriend in Colorado, and started playing music with the singer from one of my old bands in Spokane, WA (and left my band in CO).

It's been insane, but I think I'm finally settled in. Only took me 5 days to actually get my fucking couch into my living room.. heh.

I've only gone to one "club" since I've been here, and it was pretty much miserable the night I went (an 80's/goth night down at geary/van ness). I haven't found enough posts on which nights are actually good... just the nights that stuff happens. Going to have to do some more checking up next time.

Little stressed about the whole girlfriend thing... Probably should have broken up before I left, but she wanted to keep dating. Argh. Probably a bad idea since we both know we will break up eventually... doesn't really make any sense to stay in a long distance thing.

Positive notes... job kicks ass, apartment kicks ass, SF kicks ass. Spent last night going to a bunch of bars in chinatown, and the night before in haight... closed out the places both nights. Playing keyboard again exclusively (used to play drums and guitar, but I left the drums in CO and my guitar broke when I got here), which is actually great... I've been too distracted from the keys for too long. And my formerly-ex-singer kicks ass... we're going to be making some killer shit.

k.... enough for one entry... should have dsl soon and then I can actually get on all the time.
