Season of Rain
1. Spring is here in the northern hemisphere, and this past week we had Passover and Easter, and soon Beltane will come. Do you celebrate the spring in any formal way? If so, how?
Once the time change happens I change the filter in the central heat & air unit, batteries in the garage door opener, check the smoke alarms, rotate the mattress.
2. If you celebrate, why? If not, why not?
Really it is just a list of chores.
3. How do you generally mark this particular change of the seasons?
time to get out the shorts and the open toe shoes. put away the coats
4. How do you feel about spring? Happy? Randy? Miserably allergy-y? Indifferent?
I like it. Stock up on the bug spray though.
5. What's your favorite way to celebrate in general, and what is your favorite time of year to celebrate?
My favorite is birthdays and the Fourth of July.

1. If you could give out Best Picture, Best Actor/Actress and Best Director Oscars to any movies (not necessarily all from the same year) to people/films that haven't won, what would they be?
The Children of Men would get best picture. Best Actor would be Gary Busey for the Buddy Holly Story, Best Actress would be Kate Hudson for Almost Famous, Best Director would be Terry Gilliam for The Fisher King.
2. What is your favorite genre of writing (short stories, novels, nonfiction...)?
I am really digging short stories and essays right now because I am just consuming anything by Sarah Vowell right now.

Movies: Pump Up The Volume, The Lost Boys, Forrest Gump, Fight Club, Lilo & Stitch, there may be more to this as well.
4. If you could write and cast your own movie, what would it be about and who would you cast?
Probably a combination of Clerks and Office Space based in either a call center or a pizza place. Write what you know right? I would want Ryan Reynolds, Kathy Griffin, and Ethan Suplee. Past that I am flexible.
5. What's the best song to wake you up? Put you to sleep?

School Daze
1. Would you return to high school life for a week? Why or why not?
I guess. Hang out, no job, no bills, study for things I already learned.
2. Who were you in high school?
I was a mut. I was the guy on the fringe of different groups but never really part of one. An angsty round guy that was mostly irate for no reason worth hearing.
3. What was your favorite high school hangout? What did you do there?
The house. Avoided my parents. I didn't get a bunch of invites.
4. What were your favorite three songs in high school?

'Nuthin' But a G Thang' by Dr. Dre featuring Snoop Dogg
5. What was the craziest thing you did in high school?
Not do homework.

1. What's your favorite kind of weather?
upper 60s for the high and mid 50s for the low, clear skies
2. What do you most like to do when the weather outside is your favorite kind? What do you mostly end up doing?
anything I please. looking out the window wishing I was not at work.
3. What's your least favorite kind of weather?
Anything extreme. Or, anything I can't drive in.
4. What do you most like to do when the weather outside is your least favorite kind? What do you mostly end up doing?
Go to a movie. Hiding indoors.
5. Given the choice between a climate that's more or less the same year-round or one with varied weather depending on season, which would/do you choose? Why?
I would go for the same year round. I have lived in Oklahoma my whole life. Varied weather means tornadoes, hail, and ice storms. You keep it.
