Master Debater
1. What the last political debate broadcast in your country?
The first and only Vice Presidential debate of this election.
2. How much of it did you see or hear (none, some, all)?
All. I am never getting that time back am I?
3. Did the debate or the coverage of it change your opinions of the people debating? Why or why not?
No. People just became more of what I already thought they were.
4. What question would you have asked at the debate?
Would you seek a pardon for Leonard Peltier?
5. How do you feel you would perform if you were a candidate in such a debate? Why?
A debate is a matter of being prepared and objective. If you cannot answer a question or reply to the opposition's arguments then you have lost and it is made clear that you didn't prepare enough. The issues are often many but nonetheless clear. So do your homework and know your history and facts. Stories about Joey at the 7-11 or reminding people of your tax bracket is not the way to the hearts and minds of America. I could give a shit about your hometown or any other part of your background. People will already know what they care to by now. When you get to the debate, talk about now and the future. How do you purpose we fix the ills of today and what will you do to prevent them from returning or getting worse?
