National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women in Canada
1. Are you aware of the National Day of Remembrance or similar things in your own country or area? Do you do anything to mark them? Why or why not? I just read about it on wikipedia. I was unaware until now.
2. Do you feel that such remembrances or awareness programs encourage a sexist or negative perspective of all men? Why or why not? Most rational people's views and beliefs are based upon their own personal experience.
3. For women: have you ever feared or experienced violence from men? For other genders: has a woman close to you ever feared or experienced violence from men? Yes.
4. Do you feel that violence against women is a societal issue? Why or why not? No, maybe I am being nave but I think as a society we are beyond that. That being said there are always a few sickos here and there.
5. How has violence against women affected your life, if at all? Controlled violence is very therapeutic. I will leave it at that.

2. What is your favo(u)rite airport that you've been to? Why? George Bush Intercontinental. It is the only one that comes to mind besides Love Field in Dallas.
3. What is the best museum you have visited on vacation? Philbrook
4. Have you ever made friends while traveling whom you keep in touch with on a regular basis? No.
5. Have you ever had a conversation with a seatmate on a plane? Yes. Short lived. I got the feeling I was being tolerated.
