Honto desu ka?
1. If you were a nocturnal animal, what nocturnal animal would you be? An Octopus, they are bad mother 'Shut you mouth'.
2. Which is better: to obey the law to avoid punishment, to obey the law because the law makes sense, or to obey the law because everyone should? How about you do what I tell you. Just do what I say and nobody gets hurt. SAY WHAT AGAIN!
3. Who is your favorite all time movie villian? Alan Rickman is the best onscreen villian. Just pick your movie: Die Hard as Hans Gruber, the Harry Potter series as Professor Severus Snape, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves as the movie saving, British Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor winning role of he Sheriff of Nottingham. This I feel is his best villian role.
4. Are any kind of ethics involved in wearing a hat? Yes. For guys. Where have you been? 1. Fast food excluded, you remove your hat for sitting down to eat. This rule is on the decline and I am as guilty as any. Once you have removed the hat you can put the hat on the floor, in any empty chair, on your knee, but never on the table itself. 2. Never leave on your hat for the national anthem. Failure to do so is the only reason rule 3 can be broken. 3. Never touch a man's hat while it is on his head. This is a level of intimacy that should not be crossed. Wifes, mothers, children that don't know better, and some elders can be and usually are forgiven. 4. Hats are a don't ask don't tell situation. So, never ask what is under the hat.
5. When is the best time for you to take a 20 minute nap? Why? Any time I can. I loves me some sleep. No, really about an hour after lunch. The belly is happy, the blood-sugar is up, and it is usually the hottest part of the day.
Reason and reasoning - from ir- through supra-, it's rational time!
1. Have you ever studied reasoning as a skill? If so, where did you study it (school, university, home)? Not that I know of. I know reason states that answer probably means no.
2. Do you consider yourself someone who acts according to rational principles? Most of the time I attempt a calm and reasoned approach.
3. Describe a time when you acted from passion rather than reason. How do you feel about that choice now? I nearly did this morning. I almost called in to work. I feel fine, just a bad case of 'Idontwannaitis'. I am glad I am here but would rather be with the wife. And she is not helping.
4. Describe a time when you acted from reason rather than passion. Again, how do you feel about that choice now? My father passed recently, I am doing my best to maintain a calm and reasoned point of view. Good, cooler heads are needed in a situation like this.
5. Is there a place for irrationality in an adult life? Always, if people were always rational we wouldn't be human, we would be Vulcan.
