Would you take my picture?
1. Have you ever owned a camera? If yes, what kinds (film, digital, compact, SLR, etc.)? A few. I used to have a 110 film then I went 35mm film and now I have a APS 25mm film.
2. How often do you take photos? Why or why not? (Bonus: post a link to a favorite photo that you took.) Not enough. Cost. No Bonus.
3. How often are photos taken of you? Why or why not? (Bonus: post a link to a favorite photo of you.) Far too often. Photos of me look too much like me. No Bonus.
4. What do you tend to take photos of? What draws you to take a photo? Why? Good architecture, Art, things I don't see everyday. Fear of losing it to time and/or change. That way even if my memories fail there is proof of what once was.
5. What are photos of you generally like (e.g. candid, posed, at parties, on holiday)? Candid. The everyday is far more true than something staged or posed. Give me the real rather than the really sought after.
Gender Blender
1. How are you stereotypically female? Love to shop, have far too many shoes, won't leave the house without matching, I am sure there is more.
2. How are you stereotypically male? Don't touch my hat unless you want to fight, I don't ask for directions, Super Bowl Sunday is a national holiday, boobs - sex - pizza even if it is bad it is still good, couch + remote + tasty beverage = good afternoon, Whining is not allowed.....ever.
3. What parts of you do you consider unclassifiable as either gender? elbow, fibula, nasal cavity.
4. Do you think you are primarily male, female, or neither in characteristics? I am a dude overall; however, I am the female in my marriage. She makes more money, has more carnal urges and desires, and I find myself asking her for a hug.
5. If you could be born as any gender, knowing the gender prejudices as they are now, which would you choose to be? Male. We make more money, are more likely to get a promotion or job, our parents worry about one penis instead of thousands of them, we have the better end of the baby making duty by far, we pee standing up, aren't prone to monthly hormone swings, no hot flashes, a haircut should always be under $20, black belt - black wallet - black shoes/boots and we are done with accessories for all seasons - for life, (black can be switched with brown but this can be problematic at weddings and funerals) All sports are open to us.
