I have many different traditions in my family. Unfortunately, I am far away from most of my family until Christmas day itself so I miss out on a lot.
One of my favourite memories is going to the nutcracker ballet with my nana. I would get a pretty dress and we would stay in a hotel overnight and go see the show. I definitely want to see the nutcracker as an adult. It was so magical to me as a kid.
Another tradition is the gift exchange game we used to play every year. Everyone would buy a gift and trade or steal each other's even though you didn't know what was inside.
The biggest tradition for me really is just hanging out at my nana and papas farm for as long as I can. It is my true home.
