Whoo! I have sexy nails!
My day started out pretty average. Had to wake at 6 for work. Its a fairly new job but its nice and laidback compared to so many other places i've worked so the change is most delicious.
So at work my manager asks me if i wanna work a few more hours because her friend needs a hand model for acrylic nails.
I agree (being the money hungry whore i am) and then anyways it turns out she cant go o next thing i know i've volunteered and im standing outside a beautician school eating a vegetable pie with my bitten to the max fingernails.
Meet the lady whos gonna do it and shes goddamn awesome. She's a 45yr old english lady who you'd think is in her mid thirties at the latest and we're blabbing on about music, piercings, sex, travelling all sorts.
And somehow we ended up making my nails pointed.
And i love them.
Also started new meds today. Fun. At the very least i hope they work considering i was diagnosed with the wrong thing.
oh most joy.
note to self: stop picking skin. ends up looking ten times worse than if i just left it.
