Work hasn't been too bad.. that is until today. We had our first tears in the team. I felt very sorry for the girl in my team that took the call. It's going to be an emotional ride over the next few months.

I haven't cried yet, but I know it will come. Especially if I'm assigned to the sensitive claims involving fatalities.

I worked late tonight, and then stopped into the mall on the way home. Whenever I go out for retail therapy, I never actually find anything. It's really frustrating.

I did however realise that it's not long until Valentines Day.



Australia Day is also coming up. It's normally such a hot day, and since the floods it seems our Summer is back on track. Scorching hot, humid days, and massive afternoon storms.

I'm kinda hoping they'll ask us to work. I need the money, and at least the office is air conditioned.

Oh - I didn't win Miss Alternative. I didn't even place in the top 3.

When the 3 finalists were announced, I was relieved. Given the stress of work, and the flood events that have taken place, it's been hard to get excited about anything.

I really enjoyed meeting the finalists though. We have some really amazing alternative ladies in our fine land.





Anyway.. I really need to sleep xx
