In the grand scheme of cyclones, she was tiny - a category one! She crossed the coast of Cairns on Christmas Day.
Such a large percentage of the state of Queensland is either flooded, on high-alert for flooding, and/or experiencing flash-flood.
My cousin lives in Emerald, and he's lost his entire house to the floods.

wow, way too much flooding. I saw that this is nature paying the world back for the repeal of the Dont Ask Dont Tell law in the US. Of course the birds falling out of the sky, massive fish dying and everything in nature is Gods will according to some dingbat on youtube
