I don't really know where to start - there's really only so much I'm allowed to say about my job without breaking rules and getting myself fired.
I'm going to presume that a lot of you are unaware of the current situation in Queensland, Australia. We've been experiencing a lot of bad weather, and floods. I work for an Insurance Company, so this directly affects my job.
My area manager called me into a meeting today and told me I'd be moving into a new team. This is both good and bad news. It's very much a compliment to my work ethic, but it's also going to be a really tough, and emotional task over the next few months.
It will mean a lot of over time, which means a lot of money. I'm keeping that as my motivation, as I'm determined to come back to the US this year.
I get my wisdom teeth pulled out next Tuesday, then I fly to Sydney the Saturday after for the finals of the Miss Alternative Pageant. I'm exhausted just thinking about all of this.
