I really dislike posting new journal entries without having photographs to share. I've been experiencing quite the dry spell with my photography.
Since getting my tax cheque back I've managed to pay off a few bills. Having a small win on the poker machines also helped me out for the week I was off work sick. Being a contractor I only get paid for what I work, so I really don't have time to be sick.
Over the next few weeks I hope to find out of I'm successful in obtaining full time employment with my current job, or at least if they're willing to extend my contract.
If neither happen, I"ll probably head back to the US for my usual birthday tour. I'll keep you all posted.
In other news, one of my dear friends has asked me to apply for The Amazing Race Australia with her. The application is long.. 16 pages, and we have to submit a video. We're going to talk about it a little more this week.
I hope my involvement with SG doesn't sway them from considering us. SG's in the US get a lot of opportunities, some involving television programs.. but here, it's different. It's not necessarily frowned upon, but we just aren't quite up to speed with "alternative" folk.
I'm going to stop babbling now. Long blogs are no fun without pictures to break it up

No dry spells allowed.... I think I speak for all of us when I say we prefer you dripping wet instead.
