Rule #18 - Limber Up
I started personal training sessions with Allure last week. I had another session tonight. I know the next two days are going to be sheer agony, but I'm hoping the thought of my weekend adventure in Sydney is going to help me through the pain.
Some work colleagues and I are flying out to Sydney at sparrow's fart on Saturday. Apparently they're starting drinking at the airport. Well.. they say "we're" drinking.. but I'm not that stupid, plus I don't drink beer. I'm a vodka girl. It's just impossible to have an all day/all night bender with Vodka, unless maybe you're some Russian God.
I really love visiting Sydney, it's such a beautiful place at a glance. I could never live there, because I know that behind it's incredible landmarks, festering evil lurks.
Speaking of Sydney, the SGAU Annual Ball is being held in Sydney in September. It's going to be absolutely insane. I'm bringing one of my best friends down with me for the event, and my girl CherryTrash is going to be there. There's only one thing that would make the SGAU Annual Ball better, but it won't happen so I'm not going to mention it.
The theme for the ball is Steampunk. I've been lurking the Steampunk group for a while now. I have a fairly good idea of what I'd like to wear, but I really need to purchase a new corset. Ebay is full of two things:
a) cheap crap from asia
b) expensive corsets
Can't I just get a new corset that won't cost me an arm and a leg!!!
Work has been good, but we're starting to catch up. Being that I'm on a temporary assignment, this isn't good news for me. Myself and the others on temporary assignment were called into a meeting earlier this week to let us know of two permanent positions becoming available, and the possibility that our contracts may be ending soon.
I handed in my "expression of interest" today. Apparently my MS Paint picture saying "I'm awesome, hire me" with a love heart, wasn't good enough.
I'm crossing my fingers for some good news.
I am however planning to do some serious saving over the next two months, in the event that there is no good news, and I'll head back to the USA again come October/November.. hell maybe even December.
I'll hopefully then be back in the country for Catastrophe Season, which will see me knee deep in work again
It's been raining all day. If there's one thing I love, it's the sound of rain.. especially when I'm going to bed. I'm going to snuggle up with my Butter Cup and listen to the rain.
xx

It's better to spend more on a good quality excellent corset that you can wear over and over again forever than a crappy cheapo that will fall apart from one wearing and then you can't even resell it again

There's also House of Fetish on Oxford Street, but they charge through the teeth (good thing they are wearing masks!) and the quality is a bit questionable.
