Huge weekend.

Misti picked me up from work on Friday afternoon and we headed straight to the Gold Coast. We checked into our pretty swanky hotel apartment then headed out to Hooters for dinner.

I had no idea that Australia even had Hooters restaurants. I do believe there's only two though.


The ranch for my chicken strips was absolutely foul. Australia just doesn't understand ranch.

Saturday we went shopping. I picked up a new swimsuit for my trip to the Great Barrier Reef with Doomedbyproxy. A number of my friends are really keen to meet him

We then hit the pool and had a paddle before getting ready for the big night out.

We got to Dracula's which is a cabaret restaurant. It was my first time there, and I was quite impressed. We got a photo of our group.


We hit up a pretty crappy gold coast pub/club then went to the casino. Some douche bag made a dirty comment at me so I punched him. He had the worst timing. My friends funeral song had just come on, so I had no hesitation swinging at him.

A touch hungover today a smaller group of us hooked up for breakfast and a wander around broadbeach.

Then we rode a turtle. Bindi Irwin would be proud.


I got home and passed the fuck out. It was an awesome nap.
