My SXSW was a little fucked up this year. I had school and work that week and I was frantically writing songs for our gig. We are a new band and need more material. So I forwent a lot of shows. The one night I go out, its not a show I would have picked. I got to hear, but not see Muse, which was cool. But then we go to Headhunters. I'm with 3 girls, one of whom was the girlfriend of one half of the rap duo I-45. He was cool, they were good. The rest of the bands suck. I come dangerously close to getting into a fight with a drunk Scotsman who wouldn't leave my date alone after she gave him a compliment, and tries to actually wedge himself between me and her. He was in date rape mode. She was a bit tipsy and was slow on the uptake. She defused things right before I snapped. I figure I'd give her a chance before I jumped in. The next day my guitarist quits literally right before we go on stage. Grrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!
Looking for new guitarist.
My love life is a little crazy right now, but I don't have time to explain.
