its finally the weekend and i've had an awesome first week of school. i printed my first contact sheet and i'm fairly excited about the first assignment. i've met lots of people who are both interesting and easy to get along with. thank you everyone for your kind words.

next weekend i think me and a group of friends are going camping out near a hot spring. i'm bringing lots of film.

i got to see Sean again today which was as always a delight! Fractal recommended i go to a coffee place off of state called reds. i think i'll go on monday.

tomorrow, i'm printing and then starting a research paper for my 101 class. hopefully i'll have time to jam out with johnny.

days seem to go by fast lately and i often think of when i'll have time to go home. there is an amtrak that takes me all the way to dallas, which might be a good alternative to flying or driving.

i see many beautiful things here on a daily basis. it is an incredible time to be alive. i hope the beauty of everyday things in santa barbara never becomes mundane.
