well possibly the shittest night of my life tonight. i go to a club and my friend is there. we'll call her girl a. then another friend turns up. she'll be girl b. girl a has her sister with her (girl c) and her best friend (girl d) and girl b has her best friend with her (girl e). now, girl a is extremely drunk, but she's a lovely girl and i haven't seen her for a very long time. she's attractive, we get on well, always have, and i'd like to help her with her problems cos that's what good friends do. i spend a large part of my night talking to girl a, whilst girls b & e sit in the background scowling. [background information: girl b has recently told me that she 'likes' me, after we've had some casual sex (bad i know, but sometimes a necessary evil)]. i walk off to talk to girl a privately, and we discuss our feelings for each other. basically she's a really great girl who always gets treated badly, and i don't want that to happen cos to me she's special. she's always been the sweetest girl, and i've always though of her as a girl i'd love to be friends with. then she kisses me, i respond. she asks me to go home with her, but i refuse on the grounds that my friend is wanting to leave and he's my lift. girl a gets pissed off with me, but i figure that she'll not remain pissed off forever cos when she's sober she'll understand. i do the rounds, saying goodbye to all of my friends that i'll never see again when i move to scotland. girl b comes over to me as i'm about to leave and asks me not to. girl a arrives next to me and stands and listens as girl b asks me to stay with her tonight. i refuse but girl a is not looking happy. girl b sees girl a and says 'whatever. bye' and storms off with girl e who shoots a frosty glance in my direction. i tell girl a i'll call her in the morning but she tells me not to bother...... hmmmm. i leave. then all hell breaks loose.......

i get a phonecall from a tearful girl a when i'm home saying that girl b threw a drink over her and girl e punched girl c. they all got kicked out of the club, and i'm to blame! now, i'm the innocent party here on the most part, but of course the rumours fly, and the lies are getting more and more exaggerated. "girl b is your girlfriend" "you've been fucking her for months" "you're dating three girls at the same time!"

now all of that is pure fabrication, but trying to convince girls a & c of that is very hard. what the fuck do i do? i don't want to lose girl a as a friend, but she's been hurt so badly and she thought she could trust in me (which she can), but now someone else has caused this huge mess for me, and i'm left to deal with it. any help is appreciated!
