more weight loss goodness! i'm actually in pretty good shape right now to be honest. i tone very quickly. calorie counting has been good for me to get rid of that horrible christmas fat that is the most stubborn fat known to mankind. it just wants to stick around for ages!

last night i went for a run with my friend. first time doing actual running, and we smashed out a pretty quick 4 miles. i feel pretty good for it, except that my legs are fucked. i think i have shin splints in the left, and fluid on the knee of the right. nice! i didn't realise it would be so problematic trying to regain the fitness of my youth! providing there's no more wrong than just fluid, i think i'll just get it drained and carry on. my fears are that there's some further damage though, but i guess there's only really one way to find out!

valentines day is coming up, and i'm at a loss for what to do. my gf is working anyway so it's not going to be that big a deal, so maybe i should just cook her a meal??? i dunno. what would you do?

i've been listening to mary timony a lot recently. i love her. i watched loads of live footage on youtube and it made me dig out my old helium records. ahhhhh so many good songs, and such good memories. i tried to listen to some newer stuff the other day, the stuff that everyone raves about like tokio hotel, city & colour, that kind of stuff, but it just wasn't doing anything for me at all. still holding out for some new glassjaw material.......
