So much bad stuff in so short a time.
Frankie's dad had a major heart attack yesterday. He arrested 15 times. The doctors said that they would have given up if his seventeen year old daughter hadn't been in the waiting room. So, Frankie's taking emergency leave. He's going to try and fly out on Thursday. So, hopefully he can be there when his dad wakes up.
My grandpa died last night. My dad called and told me this morning. I'm doing fine. He was pretty old, and he was sick. We knew it was coming. It's still a bit shocking though, y'know. His memorial service will be in Medford, OR. That's more than halfway to my mom's house in Califonia. So, I think I'll just drive down on Sunday for the service and keep going on down to my mom's. Come back on Wednesday.
Work runs out on Friday. Still haven't gotten around to finding a new job. Suppose I should get on that.
A good thing:
My mom seems pretty much back to normal. We've been getting along pretty well lately. *shrug* And I'm excited about the drive down (the last four hours at least).
Hope everyone else is fairing a little better.
