I keep thinking it's Saturday. Frankie was off today. Saw just about everyone in my family. Had breakfast with my dad this morning. Figured he'd be late (because for my whole life, the man's been late) and he actually showed up early! He was mad at me for being late. 
Fantasizing about my road trip. Dropped my brother off at my dad's house this afternoon. The drive out to Steamboat Island is beautiful. It made me think about driving and writing and just being.
Frankie thinks it's weird that I want to go on a road trip by myself. He says he knew I was weird when he married me. Part of me was flattered by that, the other part offended. *shakes head* I just need to regroup. I need to cleanse and renew. Get to know me all over again. He wanted to know if I had money saved up. I was like, "No. I'll probably just sleep out. Or sleep in the car. Set up a tent. I don't know." The key is spontenaity. I'm just going to get into the car, eventually I'll find someplace that will make me stop. Someplace beautiful or ugly, inspiring, refreshing.
Maybe it'll suck, I don't know.
