Well, I know the summer is definitely coming to an end, and Im rather annoyed, yet exhausted just the same. Tonight was one of the last pool parties /slash/ Adult Swim Drunken Messes of the year (some of the pix have been added to my pics folder if youre curious, with permission from participants).
Wednesday I leave for a short vacation on the Maine coast. My mother is staying in my apartment while Im gone, so I am currently on a hunt to collect everything indecent and/or disturbing from my bedroom and hide them away. Unfortunately, I neither have a closet big enough nor a wheelbarrow to transport them.
I should probably remove the power cord from my computer too. Wouldnt want Mom on my SG account, thats for sure! Im certain I will be drawn to my friends laptop this week and will have to check the Boards. It will be hard to break the daily SG habit come fall; there must be a support group I can join.
A friend at the party tonight works in a retirement home, and she recounted an incident when she opened a closet and found two of the residents going at it. The woman was holding onto the hanger bar for balance. Im looking at brochures in anticipation of my next living assignment.
Too many margaritas tonight. I am tired and turning in. Happy Tuesday to all, and to all a good night. Be back next week.
