So I have decided I am having some sort of emotional breakdown. I almost up and quit my teaching job yesterday (well, the district has decided to push scripted lessons on us, so I am actually justified there), and tonight I went to a birthday party for a friend of mind and almost all of our mutual friends there gave me the cold shoulder because I haven't been social this summer (due to, quite frankly, bouts of depression dealing with my mom's death in April that apparently I didn't deal with completely at the time). Now I just feel yucky: like I know I have been a shitty friend to everyone the past months but I don't have the energy to fix it. Anyone ever felt like this?
But just to reassure y'all I'm not suicidal, I'll add this:

As per your yuckiness: yes, I know too. It sounds like you've had good reason for any antisocial behavior though. With any luck, you won't have to really work to fix it.
