So i just left a comment in daggers journal and found myself rambling on so decided to transfer.
Got back from denver the other day and started thinking about the situation with my friends that still live there(or close). Even though we never call each other, the few times we all get together its like nothing has changed. It was my friend glen's bday and he told me it was the only time those people had been together since the last time i visited. It was good to hear that they still cared about me and our other friends enough to plan a night together. Changing the subject, we went to this bar called gabore's, THEY LET YOU BRING IN YOUR OWN MIX CD TO PLAY IN THE JUKE BOX. how rad is that. anyway
One thing that kind of brought me down was the fact that some of them were datint people that other friends had substantial rlationships with in the past. I am really against that even if the ex claims to be "OK" with it. It's just a bunch of social incest to me. why not just be great friends. there are so many other compatable people out there, and most of the time that sort of thing ends up ruining the most amazing friendships.
I guess i just saw how akward it made the ex's
and listened to them pretty much say that they were together because they thought they looked good together.
Of course your first general attraction to someone is how they look or carry themselves, but there is always so much more you need to know about a person before you should just up a label them you boy/girlfriend. I think that is why so many people get stuck in blah relationships that they never hvae the guts to get out of. IT DRIVES ME CRZY to see people i know like that. When i was younger like 17 or so i thought the same way, that girl is reallly pretty so i should be w/her. ill add more later
