One of my former hiking partners, BooBoo, came over for a visit last week.
She and her boyfriend, D-Wreck, will be heading out to NorthBound Thru hike the PCT in about 4 days time. I am very, very jealous of them. Alas, work and a lack of funding is keeping me from joining 'em this time 'round.
So, BooBoo told me she was swinging by the East Coast for a pre-hike visit. She was just in time for the National Cherry Blossom Festival here in the District.
It's late. I'm tired. I've got tons of briefings and presentations to give this upcoming week, so here're some pictures of last weekend.
Despite the crowds, it was an absolutely gorgeous day... I doubled my Claritin dosage.
